Where we start
Let's start with a conversation, not a quote.
Before we talk shoots or rates, I want to understand your business: what's working, what isn't, and where you want to go. If I can help, we'll walk through what that looks like. If I'm not the right fit, I'll point you in the right direction.
- Where you areWhat's working, what isn't, and where you feel the most pressure right now: awareness, registrations, sponsors or sales.
- Where you want to beA year from now, what's different for the business, your team and the people you serve.
- What you've triedWhat worked before and what didn't, so we build on it instead of repeating it.
- How we'll knowWhat we'll measure, so every image has a job before the camera comes out.
- The planI come back with ideas built around what I heard, and a scope that fits.

Working together

“Josh also excels at pooling marketing data to demonstrate how the initiatives he established have had a positive impact on the customer experience and company returns.”
Tracey Holman, Director of Events, Skydive ChicagoCommon questions
Do you require a deposit?
For larger projects, yes. Half up front to hold the date, the rest on delivery.
Do we sign a contract?
Always. Every project gets a short written agreement covering scope, usage and payment.
Do your rates include licensing?
Rates cover the shoot and edited images. Licensing is scoped to how you'll use them, from social and web to print, signage and paid ads.
How is travel billed?
At actual cost, with a good-faith estimate up front so you can plan.
What if it rains?
Weather and safety reschedules have no penalty. We pick a new date together.
What if we cancel?
Cancelling close to the date, especially once travel is booked, carries a partial fee to cover time already committed. The exact terms are in your agreement.
How do I get my photos?
Individuals get a private online gallery. Brands and organizations get a full-resolution folder ready for their team.
Who owns the photos?
I keep the copyright, and you get a license that spells out where you can use the images.
Are raw files included?
No, and that's on purpose. Every frame you get is chosen with you, or with your goals and brand in mind, then edited by hand just for you. You get a finished set that's ready to use the day it lands, not a folder of rough drafts.
