As this project has developed, and as I’ve gotten more involved in local organizations, faces more and more become familiar. Brett and I were first introduced in the 2026 ski season volunteering with 3 Trackers. As networking and communities go, we both found 3 Trackers in our time with organization, Open Trail Collective.

Brett and his wife own a wedding venue, Bath Hollow Farm. An outdoor venue where they steward a natural, space for other experience in their celebrations.

On this day, he found himself at the Warsaw Park alongside Open Trail Collective, Trust for Public Lands, and the Slavic Village Development to help clean up litter. It wasn’t by happenstance, his grandfather used to live in this neighborhood. Coming back meant he could reminisce and give back to a community he once enjoyed.

Brett is active not only in skiing, but hiking, back country motorcycling, and more. He’s hoping to begin cyclocross racing soon.

After photographing Elaine and her husband, Klaus, she showed me how to Polka dance! Elaine is full of energy and says she just can’t stop moving, learning , and teaching!
